Candy Corn Tree

For the last two weeks, I have been really busy working on all these costumes and haven't had time to do much crafting. I have finished most of Sissy's costume, so I decided to take a break!

This has been on my "to do" list since I saw it in the October issue of Women's Day. I think candy corn is just adorable, don't you?! Since we're getting to the end of Candy Corn Season, (which makes me super sad), here's what I made :-)

This was my inspiration:

Ear Buds

I love the pot they used, but I didn't have anything similar. For now, it sits in this glass vase. Maybe I'll paint it and add a ribbon. Spray paint makes everything better, doesn't it?! But for now, I think it's a cute addition to my Fall "Someday-I-Hope-To-Have-A-Mantle" Shelf!

I want to fill that candle holder with acorns...I have a few in there, but I need to go get some more. I'm so far behind on my Autumn decor this year...but now that we're all moved in and organized, I will definitely be more prepared for Christmas! :-)

Oh and check out my little helper...

Isn't she a sweetie?

What a lovely Sunday.
Thanks for visiting!
