ReplyDeleteI hope I get some fun crafty items or perhaps a new camera lens!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... favorite Christmas memory. Not too sure. I know watching my nephew last year was just too cute and funny with his first Christmas that he understood what was going on.
ReplyDeleteWhen our oldest son Joseph was about 2 (he's now 24!) he called Santa "HoHo". We explained to him about sitting on HoHo's lap, etc. Well when we went to see Santa at Feeney's nursery, Santa was walking around. Joseph sees him and shouts "HoHo sit!" Santa and everyone near by got a chuckle out of that! HoHo did sit down, so Joseph could climb on his lap.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I want for Christmas? Nothing except the gift of family and friends and a little snow would be perfect!
Merry Christmas!
Here goes....my favorite memory was when we were little (I was the youngest of three girls) and the last Sunday before CHRISTmas we placed our nativity up, on the mantle. We had beautiful twinkling lights and real greens and it was always auch a beautiful sight to see, a time was set to turn off all the lights and read the CHRISTmas story from Luke and then Mom and three daughters would sing CHRISTMAS Carols. Then we would go off to church for the evening service. Always my favorite day before CHRISTmas.
ReplyDeleteI have all I want and need, God has given me an extended life, and this year I am sharing my CHRISTmas Eve and early CHRISTmas morning with the homeless. The blessing will be mine to share my time and love with all God's children.
All of you have a blessed Christmas....Peggy
Hey, I think I was your 100th follower!! Anyway, favorite Christmas memory...when I was little I got an easy bake oven. I loved that thing. What I want for Christmas...just a relaxing day with a little good food, coffee and maybe some art or jewelry making thrown in. Wishing you and all of your followers a blessed Christmas.
ReplyDeleteim a fallower!
ReplyDeletemy favorite christmas memory was just this last weekend! When I was little our whole family got together on christmas at my grandmas, but she died 5 years ago and we have not gotten together since.. so this year I sent everyone a christmas card saying that was all I wanted for christmas, was for my kids to know my family the way I had growing up, and they all showed up on Sunday!! And to top it off while eating dinner it started snowing!! A gift from my Gram!!
ReplyDeleteI have been leaving santa little hints around the house that I really want a new camera lens!
ReplyDeleteWhat I want most for Christmas: to have my son and his lovely wife join us to open presents and have dinner. The whole family will be together - how wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory: Christmas Eve of my 3rd grade - this was the first Christmas that I had my doubts about a certain man with a big white beard. But those doubts vanished when a knock on the door revealed Santa Claus with presents for me and my younger brother - the EXACT Teddy bear and stuffed Dopey that he and I saw in the store and wished we could have (but hadn't told our Mom)!!! You KNOW I believed that year! (Thanks, Mom, for keeping the magic present one more year! Hope you're enjoying Christmas in Heaven.)

ReplyDeleteLast post (phew!) ... :) For me, some day I'd love to get a Silhouette machine, but in a year of having 2 daughters in college and 2 under the age of 10, and in a world that is not without hardship, what I really want on Saturday is just a day of togetherness with my family.
ReplyDeleteI have been following you for a while and just realized I never clicked your follow me button! So sorry.
ReplyDeleteOne year for Christmas my husband bought me a new guitar and have a bunch of clues so I had to go searching all over the house for it and it was actually sitting right in the living room the whole time in my old vinyl case. It was so much fun. I'll never forget it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just liked you on facebook! :)
ReplyDeleteI am not really wanting anything in particular I am just so happy my daughter will be here from college. And I can not wait to see if everyone likes the gifts I made for them! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas memory was when my sisters and I all lived at home and we would sneek down the stairs and check out the presents before we woke our parents up.

My favorite Christmas memory is when I really, really wanted a guitar but my parents kept saying no. My dad had wrapped a tiny box for my gift, so I knew it wasn't a guitar. When I opened the box, it was a guitar pick! He had hid the guitar in his closet. :)

My best Christmas was in 1985 when my entire familiy was together, alive and happy.
ReplyDeleteSanta brings me a present everyday in my Loving Hubby!!
thanks for the chance to win some goodies!!!
My children being more excited about their stockings than their presents. They are grown with kids of their own and still say it was their favorite part. There was nothing really special in them just silly little gifts, even socks and undies but every single item was wrapped.....ALWAYS! down to the last little rubber animal eraser or personalized pencil.
ReplyDeleteMy fave Christmas memory was as a child, coming down the stairs and seeing soooo many toys and the whole collection of baby sitter club books all stacked in front of the fireplace. I remember being in such awe and really thinking there was a Santa and that there was no way my parents could have bought all that themselves!
ReplyDeleteI follow you
ReplyDeleteChristmas has passed, so for next year I want a dslr camera! But Santa did bring me many good presents this year :)
